Getting a Library Card

To obtain a library card from the Beaumont Library District a patron must provide the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Current street address
  3. Telephone number
  4. Alternative phone number such as work number
  5. Valid proof of residency such as California driver's license, California DMV issued I.D. cards, or California automobile registration listing a legal address within Library District boundaries. Property escrow papers, rental leases 12 months or longer, or voter registration papers can be also used.

Minors under 18 years of age may be asked to provide the signature of parent or legal guardian in addition to the above information.

Young children must be able to write their first and last name to qualify for borrower's card. Children aged 10 and older may borrow videotapes and use the internet with parental permission only.
