We have new drop boxes as approved by the Library Board and the Friends Board. They are from a company called Discover Books.
One is for receiving donations and has been placed behind the dumpster. It is a place where residents can deposit their donations at any time of day or night--instead of dumping them at various spots around the library building! This bin will be emptied on a regular basis by the Friends.
Friends of the Beaumont Library recently received a $2,500 check to "support our kids and community" from the Beaumont Teachers Association. Pictured in photo form left to right are Beaumont Library Director Luren Dickinson, Beaumont Teacher's Association Treasurer Chauna Keels, Friends of the Beaumont Library President Milton Cook, Beaumont Library Board President Margaret Coleman, and BUSD teacher and BLD Board member Michelle Lillard-Geiser.
