Summer Reading Club 2023

This year’s Summer Reading Club “Find Your Voice” through STEAM kicks off Monday, June 12th!

• To begin: Pick up logs, receive a welcome bag (while supplies last) and participate in our kick-off activity stations upstairs on 6/12 from 10am until 4pm.  Mr. Twister will be here 10am-2pm.  Activities include: slime-making, building Bristlebots and binoculars, and coloring, etc.  

•    How it Works: Read materials, attend programs, earn prize tickets for the Grand Prize Drawing.  A family 4-pack to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram or an Amazon Kindle Fire.

•    How to Log: 

o    Children ages 0-5 or 6-12 will log their reading achievements on a paper log.

o    Teens (ages 13-17) and adults (ages 18+) will use the Beanstack app to log their reading and earn tickets for prizes.

•    To complete: The Grand Prize drawing as well as smaller prizes will be held and awarded at our SRC Finale on July 15th 10am-noon. The Grand Finale will offer a full petting zoo, art tables, face painting, bouncy house, and the Beaumont-based Wicked Kitchen food truck. 

•    Lunch @the Library meals for ages 0-18 will be served Monday through Friday beginning June 12th and ending July 28th.  No service on Tuesday, July 4th.

•    Programs and events are scheduled for ALL age groups.  We encourage teens and adults to participate in this year’s program!
