  1. Weekly Book Sale

    The sale room is located on the east side of the building, next to the parking lot.

    These guidelines must be observed by staff & customers in the Friends Book Sale Room: - All must wear masks that cover the mouth and nose. The only exceptions will be those noted by the state in their regulations. - Four people may be in the sales room, including one salesperson. The second salesperson will not be in the salesroom but remain outside to handle donations and to engage with those waiting to enter. - Hand sanitizer with at least 70% isopropyl alcohol will be available. The counter will be wiped with disinfectant after each customer transaction. - Those waiting to enter the room will be socially distanced and masked. They may wait in their vehicles. - It is suggested that each customer spend no more than 15 minutes shopping unless no one is waiting to enter. - Donations will be quarantined as they come in. Donated items may not be perused or sold. -All funds raised are used by the Friends of the Beaumont Library District to support the Beaumont Library District.

  1. Literary Sightseeing in Virtual Reality

    Teens 13-18, join us for a virtual sightseeing tour to real world landmarks made famous in fiction (such as Kings Cross Station made famous in the Harry Potter books, and the Hotel Boulderado from Stephan's King's Misery.)
